Founder & Writer
Emily Hunter
Emily is an actress and emerging writer from Manchester. She is a Royal Central School of Speech and Drama alumni, as well as a founding member of both Moonstone Theatre & Sticky Floor Productions. Emily strives to provide a safe spaces for women to write, network and film - often with a spotlight on comedy. Emily's work has been featured on BBC Upload and her upcoming debut play Enough. will premiere at the Greater Manchester Fringe in summer 2023. It is worth noting that in return for coffee, Emily will do *almost anything.
Founder & Producer
Gemma Green
Gemma is an actress and producer who trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. As the co-founder of Moonstone Theatre Company she aims to create powerful and thought-provoking theatre experiences that promote gender equality and empowerment. She wants to bring attention to the voices of marginalised groups, particularly women. Gemma's credits include Coronation Street and Stan which ran a UK tour in Spring 2022 with theatre company Art with Heart. Along with Emily, Gemma has big plans for the future of Moonstone Theatre.
Director
Kitty Ball
Kitty is a director all about bringing relevant and empowering stories to the stage. She trained at ALRA North & on the Young Vic Director course. She has taught at Rose Bruford Wigan, Arden & BIMM, with previous credits at Hope Mill Theatre, Oldham Coliseum, The Kings Head, and The Pleasance London.
Assistant Director
Jess Gough
Jess is a Manchester based creative originally from Bristol who's recently graduated from Manchester School of Theatre. She's worked with companies such as Take Back Theatre, Qweerdog and Red Brick in both Acting and Directing roles. She has a focus and passion for political, provocative and feminist theatre.
